Completed Task #2: Blog

So here it is, the second task done: Blog.  By my rules this has been completed as I’m up-to-date with updates (as it were), BUT this will be rescinded if I fall behind with these posts.  I’ve been warned.  This would possibly be a good time to ask for any comments on the content and appearance of these pages.  I’m not scared of change.
